Encourage, Network, Resource, Equip, Coach

Our desire it to bring youth pastors

together; to encourage each other

and resource youth ministries in the

Alliance North West.

Network - We gather together

around a lunch table several times

throughout the year in different parts

of the district. North Seattle, Tacoma,

Eastern Washington and Northwest Oregon/Southwest Washington. Once a year we have some sort of a youth pastor’s retreat. Keep your ears open for the next one.

                                                        Resource - we run several    

                                                        camps and conferences every

                                                        year that are designed to

                                                        “do something better together

                                                        than we can do on our own.”

                                                        DYC, Youth Quake and Quest.

                                                        We also have several things you

                                                        can borrow or rent from our

                                                        office. Call and ask about it,                                

but some of those things include projectors, sound equipment, laser tag guns and more. We also try to resource churches with each other.

Equip - we try to do what we can to offer opportunities to get trained/equipped in several different areas to help you become a better leader and better at what you do. Calibrate training days for you and your volunteers; web design sessions; seminars at DYC; encouragement to attend Youth Specialties or Simply Youth Ministry conferences; etc.

Encourage - we are always a tweet/text/facebook message/phone call/email away. Please don’t feel like we are too busy to be “bothered” with your questions. We are here for you. We want to be able to encourage you in any way we can. We would love to visit with you too. Please feel free to give us a shout to set up some time to get together. Need a break from speaking, feel free to ask Erik to fill in for you or to lead worship for your group some time.

Coach - we are building a culture of coaching. Not to make you better at sports, but to move forward in life with your own personal things and your ministry. We have several coaches who have been trained in coaching and are ready to coach you. Want a “life” coach? Contact Erik and let him know.
